This song is amazing! Carina Round has an awesome voice, but she's pretty unknown, so it's hard to find any of her music. This song's my favorite of hers, so far. ^_^
Today was, sadly, my last day housesitting for the people across the street. No more cleaning up after kitty and gagging to death when I'm shoveling out the cat litter. No more wondering how much is too much when I dump half the container of fish food into the tank. No more drippy yellow vitamin liquid that serves as life support for their one-million-year-old guinea pig to put into the guinea pig's water bottle. It's all over now, and I get to be paid. How sad.
They're supposed to be coming home any hour now. I went over to the house awhile ago to tidy up, but they have no dustpan to sweep all the dirt into! Damn their dustpanlessness. Mom was like, "take our dustpan over." I was like, "sure mom", but really, no. I wasn't about to walk across the street holding a dustpan, not that anyone was watching nor did anyone care, but that's just how we self-concerned people are. So instead of walking across the street dorkishly holding a dustpan, I improvised. I found this empty box of Strawberry Shortcake desserts and ripped off the tabs at the end so there was a flat surface to broom the dirt into. Sad, but true.
