Why won't they name a hurricane after me?

listening:: "my sharona" - the knack

^ best. song. EVER. I know, I know, I say that alot, but it's just because I have such good taste in music!! *Cough* Okay, I'm not that narcissitic. I just really like this song - it's addictive *twitch*.

If I never get to type another diary entry again, I just want to let you know that I sometimes sing really loudly when I'm by myself. And if I die, make sure to let Devon know I loved him to bacon bits. Hm. Maybe I'm being a little overdramatic. Psh - it's just a hurricane! By the way, my underwear collection goes with me to the grave, but I'd like to leave all my stuffed animals to my little brother, my sewing machine to Renae because I promised her one, and all my old clothes can be dispersed among my friends who are my size (because you know you want them!!!!!!!!!). My money goes to....ha! Just kidding. I don't have any money.

Hey, this reminds me of sixth grade when we were in school during a tornado watch and the sky was all black and red and cloudy. Emily and I were writing our wills, but Tahseen insisted they were suicide letters. We were in Ms. Ackerman's classroom! But we kept sneaking out to look at the sky from the balcony. I adore stormy weather, even if it can kill you. ^_^ And I especially love calm stormy weather, like the sky before the tornado (which never actually hit us) that day. I can still remember it clearly.

Honestly, I am so odd.

One night, awhile ago, I put on this really pretty blue dress and sat out in the rain by myself and just stared up at the sky. It was a quiet, gentle rain, with lightning flashing and the distant rumble of thunder. Weather is so ethereal to me. Maybe Sin will come and take me away to Spira. :p For those of you not fortunate to have played FFX yet, that was an FFX allusion right thurr.

And another time, a long time ago, I was home by myself as usual, and still in my pajamas, and I was staring, entraced, at the rain, so I decided I would take a short walk. This time it was really heavy rain and I was outside for a few minutes getting soaked thoroughly. But I liked it.

So odd.

Ironically, the weather coming our way now is no other than Hurricane Charley, with winds at 105 miles per hour and still growing faster. A few short hours ago my friends and I were celebrating our release from school, but now I'm a wee bit worried. I must save my Playstation at all costs.
