When you look good, you feel good, and I must've looked especially good today, because some guy told me his friends want to meet me. And except for that "interesting" little conversation, I had a good day. In my Law Studies class, we had to go to the library to research our oral project topics, and this guy just comes right up to me and Kelly and asked me what lunch I had. I told him third, and he goes, "Damn! I have some friends who want to meet you." (What kind of friends...?) And then he came back and asked me, "you're a freshmen, right?" "No, I'm a sophomore." (you retard, I wanted to add)
"Oh, well, I still get to claim you! You're my freshmen!"
"What grade are you in?!"
"I'm a sophomore."
Kelly and I exchanged glances, prompting him to say, "Hey! Don't be looking at my sophomore!"
And still later...
"What's your name?"
".......................Christine."
"Okay"
I'M SCARED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really am. I should probably be flattered, but I don't want stupid traditional kids I don't even know stalking me! *Sigh* Why do I always get the weird ones?
Our substitue in Law Studies was freaking awesome, though. He was this 47-year-old guy who only substitues for the benefits. Outside of subbing, he does real estate brokering, and that's no minimum wage job, obviously. He's also the heir to 2.5 million dollars. 0_0 *Twitch* My gold-digging side is taking over. *Twitchtwitch* Other than his insane amout of money, he was giving us valuable life lessons, such as: when you're rich, you can do whatever you want. And: dress your age ("damn girl!!") (<--had to be there. heh.)
Today I wore this shirt I made from scratch and added two skull-and-heartbones with two strips of black with constrast stitching on the back. Hard to imagine, huh? Yeah well it was hard for some people to grasp even after seeing it. There's really no point to my creations, I just get inspired. This particular project had been inspired by Rikku's outfit in FFX, because she has those long blue and white banners that hang down the back of her shirt and they're just...so...hot....so, naturally, I had to make some for myself. <3
blurry pic of Rikku and her blue strappy goodness: clickitgood
I realized halfway through the bus ride that I was supposed to meet my mom after school so she could take me to my derm appointment. You know that panic that freezes you and you just feel that ripple of, well, panic? That happened, and I felt so bad so I used Robert's cell phone to call her on her cell and say sorry.
She's home now, oh wait, that's thunder. I think? No...wait...argh! I'm confuuuuused. Was that a car door slam? Dammit! I should stop listening to such loud music like my grandma always tells me!
I realized that - at least for me - talking to people is an art. I really have to practice to get good at it.
